All Lions Clubs are part of an International organization with a worldwide membership of over 1.5 million members in more than 160 countries and geographical locations. Since Lions was introduced to Britain some 45 years ago, the fellowship on Lions Clubs has helped the organization to grow to more than 850 Clubs in Britain and Ireland with a membership of around 22,000.
Motto "WE SERVE"
Lions are:
People who have decided to give something back to their communities.
People who identify needs of others and set about meeting those needs.
People who enjoy working together in fellowship to help those less fortunate than themselves
People who enjoy themselves and include fun in their caring attitude.
